familiar faces.

The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is on tour right now in the East and they made a stop in Kirtland this weekend. We decided to head over and hear them sing on Sunday. We missed the singing... but were able to meet and talk with some of the choir members. I know a few people in the choir but didn't expect to see any of them there... little did I know I would run into two of my friends! I love it when the kids hold hands and walk together!
One of the kids favorite things to do in Kirtland... climb on the fence to see the little river.
We ran into an old family friend, LuAnn Wilkins. We were in the same ward when our family first moved to Provo. She has a son my age and a few other kids. It was so fun to see her!
My old boss, Barry, from Deseret Book and his wife are in the choir... we ran into him as well! He is such a kind man. It was so good to see him! The last time I saw him was right before I had Grace when we lived in Orem. It was so refreshing to see some familiar faces!
