So, we posted this chart about a week and a half ago... it's Lincoln's "Big Boy Binky Countdown". Well, the two weeks is up... and he did great! We didn't hear the word
binky from him the entire time! He did such a good job giving it up. I think my mom saved us by giving us the idea to mail the
binky to their new dog Buddy. Lincoln made him a nice card and a picture and we taped his
binky in there with lots of love. Buddy was so nice and sent him a new stuffed animal doggy that looks just like him! He's been so happy since his new friend "Buddy" came into his life!
As promised, he got to go to the store with me yesterday to pick out a new toy for being such a big boy and giving up his
binky once and for all! Lucky for us, they had lots of fun toys on clearance! He picked out this awesome Army car set... complete with hummers, airplanes, combat cars, and so much more! He is in heaven... Gracie isn't so sure as you can tell by the picture. We're going to have to come up with a countdown for her as well... Maybe after our trip to Utah we'll work on getting her into her big girl bed... that's a nice idea.
