I miss church!

I've only been to church with the kids twice since the beginning of the year and man is it starting to wear me down! I didn't realize how much I needed that spiritual uplift each week. Someone is always sick... or getting over something and I have to be the one to stay home since Jeremy always has commitments with his calling in the Bishopric. Hopefully we'll all be healthy next week and we can make it!

I try to dress the kids in church clothes and we are as reverent as possible while we are at home. They watch their shows about Jesus and I try to do a little lesson geared to them so that they are learning something about the Church each week. I also sings lots of primary songs with them... they LOVE to sing... so that's always fun any day of the week.

Lincoln gets so cute when we miss a week of church. He is always asking if we can tell him a story about Jesus or he'll want to read his little scriptures with us. It's amazing how he can see the difference in his own life having not been to church. Last week he even told Jeremy, "I just want to go to church!" when he came home. I guess we're doing something right!
