Normally Gracie won't smile on command for pictures... last night was an exception to that rule... we got some great smiles out of her!
She's becoming quite the little talker... she can communicate her wants and needs pretty well now in simple little sentences... if she wants a snack... she'll say, "Mommy,
nack." If she wants chocolate... she'll say, "Mommy,
chocate." If she wants to be held, she'll say, "Mommy, hold you." If she doesn't want something, she'll say, "No wan it." It's so nice to be able to understand what she needs!
She's still quite the daddy's girl... but lately we're becoming pretty good friends. She is always yelling, "MOMMY!" when she sees me or needs something. She lights up when I walk into the room and is always willing to give me big hugs. That is so rewarding as a mother! She's always been a little sweetie! My favorite is when she walks around the house singing songs to herself. It's priceless.
I can't believe she's almost two years old already! It kills me how quickly they grow up! She's quite the little social butterfly in her nursery class. She loves people just her size. She's a little peacemaker... so she's the one that usually gets picked on in her class. This last week she got her little finger bit by one of her good friends... and her hair pulled by another girl... but she still wanted to play! Her teaches say she is just a doll and they love having her in their class. We're so happy to have her in our family!
