Back to our normal routine...

So, Jeremy went back to school today. It was hard to see him go, since he's been home with us for three weeks. It was such a nice break for all of us... we had such a fun time being together all day everyday. I think Gracie girl had the hardest time of all... she watched him walk out the door to join his carpool and she immediately started bawling! She warmed up to me after a little while... and is now my little shadow. This is new for me because she's usually a total daddy's girl. When she was upset with me during the day, because I couldn't hold her or something, she would yell "Daddy... are you?!" at the top of her lungs. She was SO happy to see him when he came home.

Lincoln had some fun moments today as well. He was saying the prayer for our lunch and Gracie started fidgeting and goofing around. He said in his prayer "please bless Gracie to pay attention". I don't know where he picked up that phrase! He also blessed "Daddy at school" and "Lincoln to be reverent". He's getting so good at saying his prayers. Overall we had a great first day back in our normal routine. I even got my 3 hour nap time back! I was able to get both sets of cards done for my card clubs! I must admit that I would trade my 'project nap times' for quality time with Jeremy any day. (FYI: I couldn't find a picture to match this blog... so that is why this picture is so random!)
