Ever since we moved out here, I've tried to do better at cooking dinner. I cooked when we were back in Utah, but now I try new recipes and just try to have a nice meal on the table when Jeremy gets home from school. It's hard work when you have three little ones that want to 'help' or need you to hold them right when you're trying to cook... but we manage most of the time. Jeremy has gotten in the habit of taking pictures of the super yummy meals we eat. I thought it was really weird at first... but looking back on all the pictures, it's kind of fun to see what we've eaten the last year! Here is just a glimpse of his favorite meals... (we seriously have double this amount... I tried to only post the really good ones.)
Our version of Los Hermanos "Taco Loco." One of my very favorite things to eat!
Since he worked at the Pizza Pipeline before we moved, he has gotten really good at making pizza. He tries to help out with dinner when he can... this is one of his specialties.
He does a great job! I always plan pizza nights when I know I'll have a busy day and won't want to cook. Jeremy's so good at helping me out when I need a break.
Lincoln and I learned how to bake bread this year. Link has always loved to help in the kitchen!
Another thing Jeremy loves and always cooks for me is anything on the grill. This is one of many shots of his grilling masterpieces...
Another pizza... We love our pizza. Jeremy always gets the ratios just right.
Lincoln loves to help his daddy 'check em' on the grill! They set the timer and Link jumps up and down when it's time to turn the burgers or hot dogs.
One of Jeremy's favorite meals. Teriyaki chicken, fresh green beans, fried rice and a roll.
His favorite "basketball game viewing" meal... a Coke (or Pepsi) and one of those Voilas you get in the frozen food section.
Another favorite... skewers on the grill. He loves turkey wrapped in bacon with lots of veggies!
We tried to make our own version of Coldstone's Raspberry Cheesecake ice cream. It was pretty good!
Jeremy is really good at making breakfasts. He specializes in French Toast. We tried making french toast with baguettes. We highly recommend it!
Lincoln loves to help make the french toast... they are always surprising me with Breakfast in bed... it's so cute!
One night Jeremy sent the kids off to a baby-sitter and made me a romantic dinner for two. He even tried to copy a recipe from my favorite food tv show, Everyday Italian. It was SO cute!
I love how when he takes the pictures of his favorites... he has to get the drink and the sides in the picture too... notice the chips and the coke!
We went to this Mexican restaurant while my mom was here after I had Graham. We came home and copied the dish and it's been a favorite ever since.
Jeremy says... "iPerfecion!"
Gracie loves to help with the cookin' too. She's helping make "Adam and Eve on a raft" with daddy.
Another breakfast favorite... waffles! The kids LOVE these, especially with powdered sugar and Mrs. Butterworth's original thick and rich syrup.
Jeremy loves it when we have Sunday dinners with the Wests and Melanie and I "combine our forces and come out with masterpieces!" This was our Christmas Day meal with them. Yummy!
You all know how we love to feed the missionaries. It feels like we're feeding the army some weeks because there is just so much food! Here is one of the weeks dinners...
