We had a great Family Home Evening at our house last night. We bought a cheap little nativity set at the dollar store this month so that the kids would have one to play with. It is the new toy of choice at our house! They love playing with it. I overheard them making each person talk... and decided that we should remind them of who each person was in the nativity... Jeremy was so darn cute when he was explaining each person's role in the nativity story. It was such a sweet moment with the kids. Here he is in a full on "daddy teaching moment". The kids were completely mesmerized by the story. Next week we'll have them act out the nativity. When we finished we made our favorite 'easy holiday sugar cookies'. These are a favorite family home evening treat whenever there is a holiday coming up! Lincoln likes the dough better than the cookies! Smart boy!
