Ward Christmas Party.

We had our ward Christmas party tonight. It was a lot of fun! Good food... good friends... good entertainment. The kids had a blast hanging out with all of their friends. Graham was showing off his walking all over the place. We got lots of "he's so cute!" "he's so little!" "he's so darling!" comments through out the night. We kind of just let him run free and boy did he like that! All the boys were busy playing 'good guys, bad guys' together. It's a wonder none of them got hurt with how rough they were playing! They sure had a lot of fun... Gracie had lots of fun playing with her little friends... they formed this chain all by themselves and pranced around the gym together!
I was in charge of the Primary's musical performance for the night. We didn't get a picture of the actual performance because I was obviously busy and Jeremy was videotaping it. Here's Link and Gracie with a few friends lined up listening to Luke 2 and Sister Woody's song before it was their turn to perform. They all sang SO well! As they were finishing up Jingle Bells.... Santa Claus peeked through the curtain to surprise them! The kids were SO excited! Lincoln was so brave and hopped right up there like it was nothing. We found at that he wants a few more things... a baseball bat, a baseball, the bumblebee transformer guy, a telescope, and yoda. He's got quite the list! Grace wasn't too sure about this guy. She sat in my lap and looked terrified for a long time until I told her that he was the one that gave her all her new princess dresses. Then she stood right up and said, "Oh! That's right, Momma... that's right!" and wanted to sit on his lap at last. Graham decided to check him out for a little while... from a distance of course...
Graham has made lots of new little friends since I've been substituting as the Primary Chorister this month. He has to stay with me during the third hour since Jeremy is busy doing Young Men's stuff. This little girl, Rebecca, now refers to him as 'her baby' and comes to get him from me whenever she sees him. He is in love with her as you can plainly see!
John even got to sit on Santa's lap! He's going to be thrilled when he sees this on our blog! We love you, John! Gracie especially loves John. She blesses him nearly every night in her prayers and whenever she sees anyone that looks even a little bit like him she yells, "Hey momma! That's John!" After staring at him for nearly 15 minutes... Gracie decided that she was brave enough to sit on his lap. She didn't much of anything but at least she didn't cry! Which is more than I can say for Graham... he lasted about 7 seconds... But he sure did enjoy the candy cane! We love our new ward so much. It was kind of a hard adjustment at first... but we are so grateful for all of the new friends we've made. It's amazing how it doesn't matter where you are in the world... you'll always feel at home in whatever ward you are in! I love it.
