Conference fun

We had such a nice Conference weekend. It's nice that we get BYU-TV so we can watch it from home. It's even nicer that we have DVR so we can pause and rewind when the kids get a little loud or need something. They did amazingly well sitting through all 4 sessions with us. (Gracie napped through two of them... which was super nice.) They even sat through the lengthy prayers! Here they are waiting to eat their cereal (or noodles, I can't remember) during the opening prayer...

They almost made it through the whole thing... but had to snitch a bite or two (I wasn't the best example taking pictures during the prayer now that I think about it!)

We decided to make scones on Sunday in between sessions. They were SO yummy! Jeremy liked his with powdered sugar... the kids and I liked ours with cinnamon sugar. We ate ourselves sick!

Gracie thought that they were super yummy!

Lincoln called them 'donuts' and ate about 3 of them!

Most of the last session was spent making lots of puzzles on the floor. Lincoln insisted that take a picture once they were all done... but Gracie found her way over and destroyed most of them before we could take a good picture... you get the idea!

I enjoyed conference SO much this year. So many of the speakers spoke to my heart and answered my questions. I am already looking forward to the October sessions!
