Spring has Sprung

I've never been so excited for Spring to come. I find myself looking at the trees more as we're driving down the road hoping to see a few more little blossoms or some green on the branches. I experienced one of the milder Cleveland winters... and I must say that I'm so grateful that the weather is changing and we can go outside a little more often now. We ventured out to "Daddies favorite park" this week for some fun in nature. Here are a few of our favorite pictures from the day... Getting the shoes on before we go up the hill... our kids (well, Gracie) have this bad habit of taking their shoes off the minute we get into the car (or to the grocery store, the library, etc etc). We always have to put them back on whenever we get out of the car.
Graham has found a new love of riding in the stroller. He loves to be taken on walks!
Gracie has found a new love of giving Graham lots of hugs!
We've found that our little guy craves attention. We don't know if it's a 'third child' thing or not. As long as somebody is looking at him he's fine... if nobody is paying attention to him, then it's a whole different story. He especially loves attention from Lincoln! They are great friends.
He's such a smiley guy. Everywhere we go we get all kinds of comments on how happy he is. Everyday I think about how I wish everyone in Utah could see how sweet he is. He's growing up way too fast!
My three favorite boys. I am so lucky to have such amazing men in my life! :)
We found the spot for our picnic... and had to snap a picture on this nice little stone fence.
We love to have picnics in the park! It's going to become a weekly little tradition for us all through the summer. We want to experience nature more... it gives us such perfect opportunities to teach the kids about all of God's creations.
Gracie got super messy eating her chocolate milk and she insisted on eating a whole banana... I think she ate about 2 bites.
There was a little wood playground and we decided to go down the slide together!
Lincoln was so proud that he climbed this all by himself!
Jeremy and Graham are getting closer and closer everyday. It's hard not to bond with this little guy!
There was a bar on the playground that reminded Jeremy and I of our old P.E. days. Remember having to do pull-ups? The girls always got off easy and just got to hang there with your chin above the bar. Jeremy and I made a little bet. We thought it would be fun to see if I could do more pull-ups than his one handed pull-ups. Here is me attempting one pull-up.... I never quite made it!
Lucky for me Jeremy couldn't do any one handed pull-ups either. But, he did do 11 two handed!
There was a little bar and Lincoln decided that he wanted to do the "tight rope walk". He was afraid to do it alone so I helped him along the way. (Notice happy Graham!)
Gracie has become Lincoln's shadow and always wants to do whatever he's doing... here she is attempting the tight rope walk also...
There was a fun swing set as well. This is one of my favorite things to do with the kids.
They seem to enjoy it as well!
This is Lincoln and Gracie's favorite thing to do on swings.... these swings were just the right height for them!
Gracie loves to walk by herself.... but she is a poky little puppy. She has learned to enjoy piggy back rides and rides on our shoulders.
Lincoln loves to push Graham in his stroller. If we try to take over he'll say, "No! That's MY job!" He feels responsible for his little brother. I enjoy it because I can keep track of all of them easier!
