First annual shameless showoff showcase

It seems like I have so many projects going on lately and I don't have many people to share my finished products with out here. Okay, so there are people that I could share them with... but I really just want to share them with my family because I know that you guys will care because well, you just have to! So, I'm going to start an on-going little blog deal called showoff showcase where I can just shamelessly show off my many projects that I've been working so hard on. I'll try not to post too many so that I don't get too full of myself... but it's fun to brag about fun things that you make! So, here is my first shameless showoff.... We are having a birthday party for Gracie-girl this Saturday since she'll be turning two. It took me forever to decide to actually throw her one since she could really care less... but I finally gave in and thought, what the heck... you only turn two once in your life... and we don't have family to celebrate with out here... so we'll throw a little party and invite some of her friends. I was watching one of the many cooking shows that I tune into (Semi-homemade) and saw this fun little party favor idea and thought I'd give it a shot! It turned into a really fun one-on-one thing to do with Lincoln during nap time. We had a lot of fun together. You take an ice cream cone, dip it into melted white chocolate, put sprinkles on it... and refrigerate until it hardens. I thought they were super cute and they looked pretty easy. I was right!
Then you put them in cute cellophane... fill them with fun candy and voila! The perfect little party gift! I think so anyway... :) Hopefully all her little friends will enjoy them as much as I do! We'll for sure take lots of pictures of the party so you can see all of her cute friends!

Thanks for letting me brag!
