We've needed a new way to discipline the kids the past few months. In primary the kids get to earn rocks as they are reverent. They put the rocks in a fish bowl and when it is all filled up, they get to have a primary activity day. Lincoln goes crazy over these silly rocks so we decided to try it at home. If he does good things and helps out around the house, he gets a rock. If he does bad things (like throw big tantrums, etc.) then he loses a rock. If he earned all the rocks, then he got a new toy (or he can trade 10 rocks for a 'soda'). He finally earned all his rocks today!
He wanted a "big digger"... luckily these were on sale at Target this week. Gracie is always playing with his dump trucks... so we decided to get her one of her own.
They lined up youngest to oldest and came down the stairs...
It felt like Christmas!
They were so excited to play with their new diggers! I wonder what they'll earn next?
