We spent another morning at the zoo today! It's such a fun zoo and we are so lucky that we get in for free on Mondays. The only drawback is that is gets really busy in the summertime. There were tons of schools there for a field trip today... so it was extra busy. We managed to have a good time despite the crowds!

We almost got the kids convinced that the shuttle is a train for us to ride. It's nice because then we don't have to pay the money to ride the real train for 3 minutes! We rode the 'train' a lot today. They loved it!

The hippo was a favorite for us this time. He/she was doing all sorts of fun things in the water for us!

Jeremy had lots of fun posing the kids on all the fun statues when we stopped for lunch.

Mrs. Hot stuff herself!

The kids had so much fun playing together on the playground! There were LOTS of bigger kids around so they got trampled a little bit.

Lincoln became super protective of Gracie and held her hand and helped her up to the top of the playground. We were amazed at how he just took over the role of big brother and helped her around all of those kids! I was so proud of him. He's such a good big brother!

The kids love the building with all the
fishies and monkeys... here they are admiring the spider monkeys...

Who knew a two
seater stroller could actually be a three
seater?!

Rochelle,
Hi! I had you for the "sense" swap and just wanted you to know that I sent your package today (parcel post, so I know it won't be there anytime this week!! hopefully, it will be the middle of next week.)
I love the pictures of the zoo--clever way to create a triple stroller for a good price.
Hi Rochelle!
I received your package today and wanted to email you and tell you a B I G
T H A N K Y O U! ! !
However, I didn’t have your email address, so I am leaving a large comment on your blog! So let’s start there… way cute blog site, I’ll be back for sure! Your family is so cute and you seem like a really happy Mom, and I know that says a lot about you, because being a wonderful happy Mom is hard work!
The swap package you sent was so great! It totally made my week! All the cute things you put in were all so perfect! You are incredibly talented with your cards and the diaper pouch (Hahaha… that was funny for smell!). Soooo…. I have always been more interested in my pursuit of more “artsy” things as opposed to crafty, which category I have always thought card making fell into, but you have totally changed my mind! I took a bookbinding class once and made a gorgeous journal with beautiful watermarked paper, and your cards totally reminded me of that experience. You are truly an artist! I think (gasp!) I could get into the card-making thing! I will totally use those cards with pride and just wish I could take the credit for them! Anyway, on to the CD. So the other night I was talking to one of my best friends husbands who used to be a part of a local Utah band, and it reminded me of this band I had seen many years back… Sunfall Festival! And I seriously was like “man, I really wish I had some of their music.” And low and behold, the next day your CD arrives! The universe is crazy! PS, thanks for reminding me that I love Tori Amos and have sadly been lacking in my listening of her…. I will remedy that immediately! So here I sit, eating the macadamias, listening to the CD, loving the frame, using the pouch, jealous of the cards… You are so great!
Anyway, you said you’ve been lurking on my blog…. So now that we know each other, let’s say Hi! Nothing like 2 mother’s crying, laughing, fretting, growing, etc, etc, together!
Great to know there is another hard working wonderful woman out there!
Love
Cristy Welsh (Oh ya, Jim says HI!)
Excellent...this swap thing is working and people are meeting people! By the way cristy...the lead singer for Sunfall Festival went to Provo High, sang with jim in his choir and is good friends with chelle's family...right chelle? I'm thinking Chelle needs to burn me a copy of their music too??! (hint, hint...I'll trade you with something...just name it :P)
