We've been doing lots of fun things as a family during Jeremy's break. We headed to my favorite place in Cleveland, Shaker Lakes for a nice afternoon together. It was SO nice to be outdoors!

Gracie latched on to her purse from Elliot and Jessica and had to bring it with us on the trails...

I love this park because they have awesome trails that aren't too tough. It's such a nice way to get outdoors and experience nature in the middle of the city! You seriously feel like you are in the middle of the woods somewhere. There are no cars... no buildings (except the nature center)... just beautiful nature all around you. I didn't get the experience it to the fullest last summer because I was big and pregnant... so I am loving it this year!

Gracie was SO funny with her little purse! She carried it around the entire time we were there!

One of Jeremy's favorite trees in the park... the roots are so sweet!

The kids love to throw rocks in the river... we let them have at it while we stopped for lunch.

This is another one of Jeremy's favorite trees in the park. It spans across the entire river.

We have an
un-written family rule that you can't cross a bridge without taking a picture... okay, so not really... but I think it should be a rule because they sure make great pictures!

Gracie wanted to try walking across the log... she needed a little help from daddy.

Gracie is the little shadow everywhere wanting to do whatever everybody else is doing. It's SO darling...

Lincoln loves to do anything that big kids do. Jeremy helped him walk across the logs...

The kids have found that peek-a-boo is one of Graham's favorites! Aren't they the cutest?!

Gracie sure loves her daddy!

Jeremy in one of his 'teaching moments' with the kids. They love learning about stuff. He's teaching them about rocks...

I had to get a shot with my sweet baby Graham. I'm so happy that he loves me so much!

The scenery in this park is amazing. I think I like it so much because I feel like we're in the mountains which reminds me of home.

On our way back to the Nature Center we ran into a cute little family of ducks. The ducklings were SO sweet!

Last time Gracie saw ducks... she ran away saying "Scary
duckie!" I think she's okay with them now.

Gracie is becoming little miss independent and wants to do everything herself... she does a pretty good job most of the time!

On the way home I decided to take a picture of my favorite house in Cleveland. It looks just like a castle! I would love to live in a house like this someday! (Maybe not quite so big, or we'll have to hire a live-in maid or something.)
