So many of my friends have craft days with their kids. I've always felt like a bad mom because I never do things like that with my kids. I worry about the mess instead of letting them live a little and get some glue or glitter on the table. That's just the obsessive compulsiveness coming out in me, I guess. This week I decided it would be a good idea to break out and do something fun and crafty with them. Boy did they have fun!

I was going to through some old magazines out... but first we cut out pictures and the kids glued them on paper and made little collages to describe their little personalities. Here they are admiring their work...

They are all into making crazy faces while yelling "CHEESE!" whenever I take their picture lately. Lincoln gets a little out of control sometimes...

Another day we watched Curious George together and then we printed out pictures to color. Gracie LOVES to color. I think she's getting past the eating crayons stage... we'll see.

Another lovely "CHEESE!" shot...

They have their own personal art gallery in the making. You can't see the collages very well... but I think they are adorable! The pictures that they chose really represent who they are. They each found a picture of the Prophet and Jesus out of the
BYU Magazines and insisted on putting them on there. Lincoln found lots of diggers and cars for his. Gracie found lots of animals and even a pair of shoes for hers. Maybe we'll do craft day more often.... we'll see.
