Easter Eggs with Lincoln

Lincoln and I have been doing fun things together lately while Gracie and Graham take their afternoon naps. Since it's Easter soon, we decided to dye some eggs together! Lincoln thought it was so funny that they changed colors! Here he is before we started... isn't he a handsome little guy?

Here he is dipping them... he loved to dip them in two different colors. He thought they looked so sweet that way.

He loved to count them. He even counted all the different colors individually. He's a pretty good counter, unless he's being silly. Then you get numbers like 'eleventeen' in there.

He was so proud of his eggs... he counted wait for Daddy to get home so he could show him his surprise! He's so excited about the Easter Bunny this year. I think he thinks the Easter Bunny is like Santa Claus and he brings you lots of toys. About three times a day he'll say, "I sure hope that the Easter Bunny brings me lots of diggers!" Hopefully he won't be too disappointed on Easter when he doesn't have a pile of presents. It's so fun when they get to the age where they are excited for big holidays!
