Lincoln is back to being my biggest helper in the kitchen. Here he is helping me make dessert for our Sunday dinner with the Wests yesterday. He took all the "green things" off the top of the strawberries so that it would be easier for me to cut them up!
Why is it that the baby toys are always the fun toys at our house? Seriously... I am always catching my kids playing with Grahams toys! Gracie thought she was something special after she got in the bouncer all by herself...
Lincoln loves to play games with us lately. His latest trick is asking us if he can play a game before he goes to bed (total stalling tactic if you as me!) We gave in last night and played a Memory game with him. He got all the matches before Jeremy and I could even take a turn! (no cheating involved... I might add!)
We realized that Gracie girl loves to eat her Lucky Charms a certain way. She eats all the marshmallows first, then she takes all the other pieces and sets them on the place mat, drinks her milk... and occasionally she'll finish the rest of the cereal. Hopefully she'll grow out of that phase soon!
We had a little playgroup at our house this week... it was pretty fun! Lincoln's 'best friend', Taylor, was one of the friends that came over. He brought his Thomas train for Lincoln to play with so that he could play with Lincolns train. They are the cutest little boys when they get together! They're in the same nursery class and all of the other kids know that they have to sit by each other each week. They'll even move if one of the boys comes in late so that they can sit together! I think it's so sweet!
Lately Lincoln has been such a doll and every night after our prayers at dinnertime he'll lean over and say, "Mommy, thanks for making this yummy dinner for us." I nearly melt every time he says it. I give Jeremy all the credit because he's always good at saying thank you when I make him yummy food.
