We finally have a little extra money, so I am going to buy (or make) some window treatments for our living room and our bedroom. I have no idea what I want... color, length... no idea. So, I'm soliciting the help of all of you for your fantastic ideas! Here are some pictures of the rooms as they are.
This is the living room... there are these two big windows on one side...
...and these two smaller windows on this side. Should I just do curtains on the two big ones and leave the smaller windows as they are, or do curtains on both? I'm thinking that I want either black, chocolate brown, tan, or deep red in there.
Here is our bedroom. It's really sparse... I know. We're hoping to find some good deals on furniture this summer at Garage Sales. There are three windows in here. One is great (the one on the left) the other two are at weird spots in the room. The one on the right runs into my closet so it's a little bit smaller than the other two...
...then there's this one that almost runs into the wall on the other side of the room. I have no idea what to do in here. For colors... I am up for anything. We rotate our bedspread from the one you see (deep reds, greens, cream, and white) and another one that is kind of patriotic looking.
