The Dental School hosted a really fun carnival for the kids this Saturday! They had all kinds of games for them to play. It was fun to get out of the house and have some fun as a family! Lots of our friends from the ward were there as well... so the kids got to play with some of their good friends.
They had all kinds of carnival food... hot dogs, chips, cotton candy, popcorn, soda. I think Lincoln had popcorn and cotton candy for lunch. Gracie had part of a
Twinkie and some
Cheetos. Talk about a healthy lunch!
Lincoln had the most fun playing all the games. He dug for treasure with his pirate hook and found some pennies!
His favorite game of all was the Goldfish toss. You had to toss a ping pong ball into these tiny cups with goldfish in them. If it made it in (which was really hard to do) then you won a goldfish!
Lincoln won two! He named them
Nemo and little
nemo. We had to make him stop playing the game before he won all the goldfish!
Gracie's favorite game was the duckpond. She picked up three at a time consistently.
Lincoln liked it too... especially the fun glasses he won!
Gracie couldn't get enough of it!
She loved the smarties she won each time. She must have eaten 5 or 6! We had so much fun... hopefully they'll do it again next year!
