Thanksgiving.

Lately I've been busy with projects for my calling and so my kids have been a little neglected. The other day I was busy doing something and I went to check on the kids and I found them happily playing in my bedroom. There are so many times when I think the kids are getting into trouble (you know that dreaded moment when the house is really still and you haven't heard from them in awhile... and then you hear the giggles?) I can honestly say that most often when I think they're doing something naughty, I find them in my room, reading stories on the big comfy pink chair together. It's times like those where I just want to cry because I am so grateful for my sweet children. They are so precious! I am reminded of a quote by President Hinckley... "It is imperative that you not neglect your families. Nothing you have is more precious. . . . When all is said and done, it is this family relationship which we will take with us into the life beyond.” I need to remember that every single day.

Oh man you are so lucky. I wonder who has lost hair or what bottle is now empty when I hear that silence.
