This year we decided to start a lot of new traditions for Christmas. One of them was to make gingerbread houses! We opted for Graham Cracker Houses instead since real Gingerbread is a lot harder. The kids loved it because they got to make their very own. Lincoln felt the need to use every single peice of his graham crackers... it was pretty funny.

Gracie just liked to watch us put them together... she thought it was super fun!

The day after we put them together we had the Wests over and we decorated them together with lots of different kinds of candy and things. Gracie mostly just watched... and ate the candy. She definetly has a sweet tooth just like her mommy!

Lincoln had a lot of fun making his 'smartie' rooftop! I think he ate as many as he put on... that's half the fun though... right?!

Here's the finished products... Gracie's is the littlest one (mommy helped her a lot with hers...) Lincoln's is the middle one (he did all of the decorating on his own...) and the tall one is Mommy's (it's a clock tower...)

After we decorated we sang lots of songs. The kids all lined up on Jeremy's guitar case and sang along. It was so cute! (You can't tell from this picture... but they really were all having a good time!)

Lincoln loved his house so much he carried it around for a little while that night....

Then, while we were reading scriptures we looked around the couch and found this...

They really love to eat the candy off of the house! We catch them snitching all day long... it's so cute!

We'll definetly be making these again next year!
