We had a fun day at the zoo on Monday. Here are the kids riding the "train" (really the little tram) up to see the Monkeys and the Fish!
Here's the big gorilla... he was so funny... it was like he was trying to tell us something... He kept tapping his wrist. Link looked at him and said, "That's a great big guy!" He thought he was pretty cool.
When Gracie saw the chimpanzees she said, "Monkey!" plain as day... we didn't know she even knew what a monkey was! This is her admiring the chimps... Sorry you can't see them in the picture...
We all loved the flamingos... they are such pretty birds. I think of Valerie everytime I see them and the home video from their trip to San Diego... she mentioned that they were her favorite bird or something like that. I love their pink color!
Gracie was a little bit nervous about sitting on the pretend elephant...
These guys were Jeremy's favorite animal that we saw... They even posed for a picture for us!
Two tired kids after a fun day... it was so nice to get out of the house... and even more fun that Daddy was able to come with us!
