I Love to See the Temple...

We made it a priority to get to the temple during the break... and we finally made it there on Friday. I haven't been this anxious to go to the temple in a really long time. It's been almost a year since we've done a session and it felt so good to be there. We're fortunate to have friends in Columbus that were willing to watch our kids so that we could attend and we are so grateful for them. Of course we forgot our camera... and we were so bummed about that. Here is a picture from the church website of our temple in Columbus.... Last week in Relief Society a woman in our ward mentioned that when she goes to the temple she is home. I felt that as I sat in the temple with Jeremy. I felt so close to him and to my Heavenly Father I was brought to tears more than once. I also felt closer to my family than I have ever felt since we've been out here in Cleveland... funny because none of them were with me! I am so grateful for parents who taught me the importance of going to the temple at such a young age. I will always remember our 'family temple trips' once a month when we all lived close to each other. I love my family so much! (can you tell that I'm a little homesick!? It's driving me nuts!) Next time we will remember our camera and get some shots of all of us together there... I promise!

We went to the temple too on Wednesday and it felt so good. As I sat in the sealing room (we were doing sealings) I was overcome with this wonderful feeling, I don't know how anyone wouldn't know the church is true after being in the temple. Its wonderful.

I am so glad you were able to make it. We need to go again sometime too.
