I thought that Lincoln and I would have the hardest time getting used to this pre-school thing... little did I know that my little Gracie-girl would struggle with it the most! She started to cry when he walked into his classroom... she cried all the way to the car... and cried herself to sleep on the way home. It was SO sad! After her nap I assured her that we would go back to the school and pick up Lincoln... she was so happy to see him! They held hands all the way back to the car! When we got home, Lincoln gave his old little backpack to her so that she could feel like a big girl and be just like him. We decided to take some pictures so you can see what good friends these two are...

It'll be nice when she's big enough to go with him next year!

and Gracie adores her big brother... I'm so glad that they are such good friends!
They just had to throw in a silly one for the end... Hopefully Gracie will get used to this before too long! Any tips on dealing with the younger sibling would be fantastic! :)

Well I have never had kids but I do have brothers and sisters. And child development was my major, so I can say with expertise that you should just tell Gracie that oldest children are just better. They always get to do everything first and better, and she'll just have to get used to it...ha ha. I'm sure she'll get used to it soon enough. And if you take the oppertunity of having him gone to have Gracie and Mommy time she might even look forward to it!
