zoo time with daddy.

We went to the zoo on Monday since Jeremy was home with us and it would be the last time he could come for the summer. We had lots of fun! Lincoln takes after his Grandpa Christensen... he is a sweater! This is after about 20 minutes at the zoo!

Gracie was tired and hot... but it made for some good cuddling with daddy!

They called for volunteers from the audience at one point. We tried to get Lincoln up there but they didn't choose him. Good thing because there is no way he would have touched this snake!

About halfway through the show we noticed that there was a butterfly on Jeremy's hat!

One of the highlights for our kids was when they pulled out this little dinosaur. It's so funny how kids get hooked on one thing for a long time... (first it was diggers, now it is dinosaurs with Link.)

Lincoln's favorite animal from the day was this Scarlet Macaw. They are so pretty!

We decided to go over to the dinosaurs because Lincoln wanted to show daddy how cool they were. We ended up running into two of our friends there... the West's and the Woodwards. It was fun to have friends with us for a little while.

Gracie was SO afraid of most of them! A couple of them made her jump when they growled! She cried a few times... it was so cute! (I know... I'm a horrible mommy.)

Lincoln and Chauncey had lots of fun running from dinosaur to dinosaur checking them out together...

We had a great day with the family... anything is more fun when Daddy is there! :)
