we love sunday!

We've had a crazy week with lots of friends and sickness and serving at our house. We decided to take it easy today and just enjoy spending the day with our little family... so we headed to our favorite Sunday park with our dinner! It was supposed to be shredded roast beef, mashed potatoes, rolls and corn on the cob... but we decided to simplify and just had roast beef sandwiches on our hot rolls. It was super yummy!
Lincoln has turned into a boy who loves to smile for the camera... we are enjoying it while it lasts... Graham munched on a king size roll and had a blast while doing it!
Gracie girl loves her brother... and he loves to give her hugs around her belly... Lincoln found some sweet sticks..

Gracie girl loves to drink 'soda'! She doesn't get it very often so she was in heaven when we let her have some today. I told her I wanted to take a picture and she made it really hard to get a good shot!

I think she thought I was going to take her soda...

This is the main reason why I love this metropark so much... this castle is so gorgeous! If only I were a princess... I could have my castle and live happily ever after with my prince charming! :) I also love that there are SO many different trails to go exploring on. This metropark is huge... I doubt we'll be able to see all of it before we leave Cleveland... but we're sure going to try!The kids loved the trail we found this time... it was kind of rough for their little legs! There was all of this really cool bright green moss on the sides of the trail...We pretended that the trees and roots coming up from the ground were dinosaur bones... and the long tree trunks were 'long necks'. Lincoln was loving it! Gracie actually got really scared and made Jeremy carry her most of the time because of it...He has such a big imagination... it was fun to hear him talk about all the different things he could see! In this picture he was having all of us crouch down to go under the triceratops legs... he was doing stuff like that all along the trail. It was so much fun!

What a fun park! And look at you packing a great picnic.... I would have probably opted for PPJ sandwhiches and a bag of chips... anyway, I want a castle!
