FHE in the park.

Jeremy came home a little early from school, a very rare occurrence since he's been in the clinic the past few months. So, we packed up our dinner (roast beef sandwiches on homemade rolls) and headed to daddy's favorite metropark for some quality family time. Lincoln is always trying to pick up Graham... he can move him short distances... mostly he just wants to make him laugh and smile.

Graham absolutely adores being out in nature. He is always checking everything out with his little eyes... I think it's so fun to watch him explore the world around him!We took a little hike to find a small playground hidden in the middle of the park... Lincoln was our leader... Gracie was in a horribly bad mood and spent her time on Daddy's shoulders most of the trip.We had a little lesson about nature and how Heavenly Father created everything around us. It was fun to watch the kids as they looked around at all the beauty. I hope they grow to love nature as much as Jeremy and I do. I couldn't resist taking a picture of this tree... it was still green except for this little patch of red and orange.

When we found the park... we all had lots of fun swinging on the swings together!

Gracie fell off the swing twice... she was fine... just a little shaken up. She opted for swinging with Daddy instead... it was much more fun for both of them that way.

Graham just couldn't resist eating a wood chip or two! He really loved the sound of the leaves when he crinkled them in his little hands! Here he is getting ready to say, "Da!" That's his new favorite 'word'.The kids and I gathered some of the beautiful fall leaves and put together collages when we got home. Lincoln was so cute and actually posed for the picture without making a crazy face! We had so much fun talking about Heavenly Father and the beauty that He's created all around us...
