smores.

After Jeremy's campout... I heard a lot about the yummy smores they ate. I finally had heard enough and had to make some for myself. Lucky for me I had just watched an episode of Paula Dean a few weeks ago where she taught us how to make them right at home in your oven. Layer the mini-marshmallows on the graham cracker and watch them in a hot oven until they start turning toasty on the top. Then put your chocolate on the marshmallows and seal in the goodness with another graham. The top graham helps the chocolate melt really fast! They were completely scrumptious! I made 8 of them for some reason... and was only able to eat one because they were so rich! Super yummy treat for a Sunday afternoon!

Yum. I had s'mores this afternoon too, but I'm a bit lazier so I make them in the microwave.

Good idea...I think I just might do that for FHE tonight!

Those look yummy! I've made smores in the microwave before, but never in an oven. What's cooler, though, is if you have a gas stove and can stick your big marshmallow on the end of a coat hanger and dangle it over the burner flame. Yum yum. :)
