kids movie night.

Jeremy and I have tried really hard to be more social and get time in with our friends out here lately. He's been busy with game nights while I've been busy with movie nights and such. It's been fun to get to know some of our favorite people better and we want to do it on a more regular basis. It's good to get a timeout with friends every once in awhile.

Yesterday my friend Anna and I were talking and we realized that both of our spouses were going to be gone at night for mutual or work. So, we decided to get our kids together and have a movie night at our house just for them!We turned on the Backyardigans Super Spy movie that was on this week and the kids were in heaven.... Lincoln and Gracie can't get enough of this show and have been walking around pretending to be spies ever since they saw it for the first time... We popped popcorn and the kiddos ate to their hearts content while Anna and I sat on the couch and talked each others ears off... :) My favorite part was watching the kids all lined up in a row on the beanbag chair! It was so cute! Kids deserve some downtime with their friends too! We will definitely be doing this more often...
