My favorite speaker was Sister Thompson (the one on the right). She reminded me SO much of my 'adopted' aunt, Ilene. Maybe that's why I was drawn to her, I don't know. She spoke on families and boy did she pull at my heartstrings! My favorite line was, "remember that children are precious". I think I forget that sometimes when my kids are being naughty. I need to take what she said into practice and really love every single minute I have with my children. I need to be teaching them gospel principles on a daily basis. I need to be praying with them more. I just need to be enjoying them to the very fullest. I am so lucky to have three sweet spirits in my home. I think that sometimes I get caught up in the here and now and forget about the eternal scheme of things. After this RS conference, I can't wait for General Conference next weekend!

general relief society meeting.
I had the chance to go to the stake center in Kirtland on Saturday night with a car load of my fellow Relief Society sisters to listen to the RS Broadcast. It was so nice to watch it at the church rather than in my living room on BYU-TV. I was able to concentrate and listen to the speakers without interruptions and it made it so much more enjoyable for me. I felt the spirit so strong as I sat and listened to the speakers. It was first time I can remember where I was sitting in a conference and I just didn't want it to end! Each of the speakers seemed to go by so quickly... it seemed like it was way shorter than the hour and a half that it lasted. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to watch my favorite moments again.

Wasn't that a great meeting. You are already such a great woman and mother. Sister Thompson's talk made me think of you when she talked of how moms should be. Keep it up Rochelle! You're doing great!
I love your blog. I'll have to get some pointers from you. Your family is so cute!
Rochelle everyone loves you!! You should feel great that you have so many friends and they think you are so wonderful. Thanks for being the kind of person we like being around. Some one who loves her family and the gospel. Thanks for being such a great example to all of us.
