the zoo.

The weather was perfect for a zoo day yesterday.... I've been promising the kids we would go the past few Mondays and something always comes up. They were SO excited to finally be able to go! We loaded up our car with our picnic lunch, picked up our friends and headed out. The kids loved watching the big hippo stick it's head out of the water and blow stuff out of his nose! They got a little freaked out when the water almost hit them!

Lincoln was so impressed by how well he could hear me whisper when he had these listening ears on! If only he could hear that well in real life! :) Lincoln and Daisy sittin in a tree.... these two are so sweet with each other. They're the best of friends!My two little kangaroos! Lincoln and Gracie... Link thought this telescope was pretty sweet... and it was just the right height for him. I didn't realize Grace loves Daisy just as much as Lincoln! She was telling her all sorts of stuff while we were eating our lunch. I overheard her telling Daisy, "That my momma over there... and that's your momma over there... and they are friends!"

We went to a part of the zoo we've never been to before where you can go inside this little area and the birds fly all around you. The kids thought it was SO neat! Especially little Graham. He couldn't get enough of these colorful birdies!

This is Graham's favorite thing to do in the stroller... peek-a-boo! If you happen to be sitting in the front seat you have to watch out because he loves to pull hair!

We were amazed when we looked at the time and realized that we'd spent 4 and a half hours there! The kids were so good we completely lost track of the time. It was a lot of fun! Don't we have adorable children?!
