Niagara Falls.

I had such a fun day on Saturday... I had two big firsts in my life. My first time in New York... a dream of mine since I started reading The Baby-Sitters Club when I was a little girl. Now I just have to make it to New York City! :) And I went out of the country for the first time ever. We went into Canada to see Niagara Falls. It was incredible! I had no idea this city was so neat! Next time we come... we'll have to get a baby-sitter or come alone so we can go into some of the cool museums! I would love to go into this Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum... or the Wax Museum... or the Guinness Book Museum... someday! :)
We had to stop and take a picture with the dinosaurs. If you know our buddy, Lincoln... you know that he loves all things dino! He thought this 'tight-ran-o-saurus' was pretty scary... but we managed to get him to pose for a picture with us. Lincoln wouldn't go to the bathroom for anything... and I knew he had to go and there wouldn't be a chance to go again anytime soon... so we bribed him by telling him he could choose any game he wanted to play in this massive arcade. He opted for this little digger ride. Here is a picture of their $1 digger ride... everything was so expensive there! Jessica snapped a little shot for us.... Jeremy and I look like we're at a High School dance or something! :) And she just happened to catch the dramatic part of the day when Gracie got her glove stuck. Her world ended for a second or two! The kids thought they were super cool... Look at them all lined up in a row! The falls were incredible! My favorite was the announcer guy... right before you turn the corner into this he says, "Ladies and Gentlemen... this is Niagara Falls!" and then it literally feels like it is pouring down rain! It was quite the experience!
Lincoln spent most of the ride just like this... it worked out to his advantage because he didn't get nearly as wet as the rest of us did! He had a great time watching the birds and looking at the waterfalls. There was this gorgeous rainbow right next to the falls. It was gorgeous! Gracie and Jeremy stayed in the middle of the boat... Grace wasn't a huge fan of wetness of the ride... I think they got the most wet out of all of us! Graham was still smiling even after getting drenched! (Do you like how we made our own little make-shift raincoat since I was wearing the front pack? We thought we were pretty clever!) We went into the gift shop after the ride and I was mesmerized by the canadian candy! They had KitKats in all shapes and sizes. It was awesome. Graham wanted to reach out and grab one for the road as you can see! What a neat town... I can't wait to come again!

Rochelle,
I can't believe it was your first time out of the country! But I'm excited it was to Canada. We love Niagara Falls too, and you totally made me crave some good Canadian candy!!
