Conference weekend.

We had such a great conference weekend. It was so nice to just be home as a family. We have been really busy and didn't realize it until we were able to just be together for two straight days. Despite the sickness bug that was floating around... we had a great time. Conference comes on from 12-2 and 4-6 here so it made for a long day... but we loved every minute of it. Jeremy and I enjoyed watching the morning sessions alone (or with Lincoln) while the other two napped. We ate lots of yummy food as well! (I cut my hair... do you like it?) Graham even joined us... he liked to get up close and comfortable with the speakers. We all had fun sitting one our new couch we found on craigslist. I was definitely time for a new one. We love it! Jeremy had a fun time going to the Priesthood Session in Kirtland with Chauncey and John. I always wish that the women were allowed to watch that one... at least we can read it, right? Lincoln, Jeremy and I all played 'conference bingo' during the Sunday morning session. I didn't think Link would get into it as much as he did. He lasted almost the entire session! He was so funny... anytime they said a big word he would look at us and say, "They said restoration!"... or whatever the word was. He thought that if it was a big word he didn't understand... it had to be on his bingo card!
Lincoln and I made these yummy homemade Oreo cookies for our afternoon treat! They were SO good! Thanks, Erica for the recipe! In between sessions on Sunday we took a trip to Shaker Lakes. I absolutely adore this little spot in Cleveland. I would go there every day if I could. The kids had a good time 'reading' this sign. This picture is kind of dark... but the kids are collecting rocks. That is their latest thing every time we go anywhere in nature. Graham skips the little rocks and tries to take home the huge ones! These two spent lots of their time during conference putting together puzzles. They were SO great at being reverent so Jeremy and I could listen to each session. I can't wait until April when we get to hear from everyone again!

Puzzles are tons of fun. Christy and I have found that if we will do a puzzle while listening to conference we pay attention and don't fall asleep. I think we will do this with our kids too.

Conference rocks! I was amazed that when it was over I really wanted more. Maggie's naps worked out perfectly with the morning sessions, too. What a blessing!

I do love your hair! It always looks so good. Conference weekend is always good to just sit down and take it in, but especially when your life is so busy. I love the pics!

P.S. I do love the craigslist as well!

How did you move the couch? Nice hair. Glad you all got over the sick bug. See you soon.
