patterson farm.

So many of our friends have been telling us about this Patterson Farm that we have to go to while we're out here. We decided to head over yesterday since we had nothing scheduled for our afternoon. They were having their annual Family Fun Fest which was perfect for our little family! We had way more fun than we thought we would... it was so great to get outside before it gets too cold. Here's a picture of all of us on the hayride over to the festival. The weather was perfect with just a little wind. We had just the right amount of little heads to fill up the pumpkins! We attracted quite a few onlookers with our cuties! Lincoln wasn't so sure about this little corn maze... He led us all the way through it and ended up wanting to do it again right before we left! They had three big bins full of apples that were ours for the tasting... Gracie was in heaven because she loves a good apple!
Jeremy, Lincoln and I all tried to eat the apples from a string... It's really hard! We all gave up really quick... The apples were SO good! I was so bummed when my mouth started hurting after just one. My mouth has issues with most fruits... I'm only allowed 2 or 3 bites before my mouth starts to sting. It's stinks because I love fruit! The kids thought these little cars were tons of fun... Lincoln even helped Gracie by pushing her on one of them for a little bit. My favorite was watching them on these little tractors! Jeremy was such a sport pushing them around for a while...
Jeremy tried out these stilts. He was really good at it! I overheard these two teenage girls say, "Whoa! Look at that guy!"
The kids had fun in the sandbox... Graham loves a good sandbox! They had all these little houses for the kids to play in... ours loved the schoolhouse. The best part were all these huge slides to go on! Lincoln was so brave and went on them all by himself! Gracie even did it herself... with a little help from daddy.... They called this 'the attic' of the big tree house they got to climb in...
Graham LOVED going down the slides all by himself. All the people around us looked at us like we were completely nuts sending our one year old down a slide all by himself... but once they saw the look of pure joy on his face... they could see we weren't totally insane! Lincoln was so cute guiding all of us through the big corn maze. He held Gracie's hand most of the way to make sure she was safe and didn't get too scared. He's such a nice big brother! Graham thought lounging in the hay was great fun! He leaned back and just sat and basked in the sun for a minute or two... The hay ride back was lots of fun because we got to sit right behind the tractor! I can only imagine my dad taking up a job like this when he gets older!
Grace and Grammers had a ball standing up on the way to our car! We had such a fun time as a
family... we can't wait to go again next year!

That looks like so much fun! I'm way impressed that Graham can go down a slide by himself. That was the cutest picture!

Rochelle,
hey it's been a while since I've checked in and your kids look huge, especially little Graham. Wow! That slide looks awesome. I wish we had one of those in our back yard!

That looks like so much fun! Hey, have I told you my husband is from Ohio? Anyway, every Fall he talks about taking me to the Circleville Pumpkin Show back in Ohio. He says it's the best! Have you heard of it?
