Carthage.

One of the highlights of going to Nauvoo is spending some time in Carthage as well. It is always so neat to walk where we know a prophet of the Lord once walked. It was much harder visiting the site with little children but we managed to feel the spirit while we were there! Dad and Grandpa Wilde. It was so nice to spend some time with Grandpa and Grandma Wilde while we were there. (Grandpa was a lot more happy than he looks in the picture... I assure you!)
Dad, Cameron, Mom and Jeremy. It was truly amazing to stand on the grounds where the Prophet was martyred.
Jeremy and Valerie outside of the jail.
Jeremy and Annalisa. My sister-in-laws are all so gorgeous!
Lincoln really enjoyed running down the ramp... Gracie preferred to play on the railings.
We stopped at this historical marker on the way home. I believe it is the site where some of our distant relatives settled. Either Albert Miner or Edward Durphy. It was neat to see where our ancestors lived.

Carthage is one of my very favorite places. I am glad you had such a good time.
