family living center.

They have this new area in Nauvoo (new to me at least!) called the Family Living Center. It is awesome! The kids get to do all sorts of things like the pioneer children did. They had games and clothes and all sorts of things for them to do. It was a nice spot for the kids to learn about the pioneers without having someone talk to them forever! Graham really enjoyed sitting in the feeding trough!

Graham looked so awesome in his little pioneer boy hat... Lincoln refused to put one on.

Isn't she the most adorable little pioneer girl?! I think so!

Lincoln loved riding the pretend horses.

All of us girls decided to dress up in pioneer clothes and take a very serious picture... it was lots of fun! How hard it must have been to wear these hot dresses all the time back then!

Lincoln loved this little toy where you pull the ropes and the bear goes up to the top! He looked like he was milking a cow!

Once again... kids truly amaze me with their ability to make instant friends with complete strangers!

Graham enjoyed the Nauvoo Brass Band who performed right near our picnic spot at lunchtime.

Cameron and Bethanie even played on some of the things there! This is a great addition to the site in Nauvoo. Our kids adored it!
