the pageant.

We were able to be in town for the Pageant while we were in Nauvoo. It was so much fun! Before it starts they have all kinds of things for the kids to do. Our kiddos were in heaven with everything that they saw and did! Gracie loved the puppet show! They even gave her a little sock puppet to take home.
We saw two different puppet shows during the week. I was impressed with how glued to them our kids were. I had no idea they loved them so much!
Here we all are watching the show. You can see how mesmerized we were (it was pretty cheesy boring if you ask me!)
Lincoln loved playing hide and seek behind this little miniature village!
They had a bean bag toss game that was just his style!
My favorite was this table full of all kinds of old time tops. We got all of them going at once. It was loads of fun!
Gracie was so cute trying to figure out how to get it to work all by herself.
Lincoln loved this little wooden man.
The thought that you just threw the marbles all over the place... we'll have to teach them how to play when they get a little older.
Annalisa thought it was so cute when Jeremy and I held hands... she had to get a picture.
We tried to do the old time pioneer dance with them but we were too late... so we pretended to do it for a picture. Looks great, huh?
Our kids got to taste their very first snow cones. They loved them and it sure made for a darling picture!
My favorite candid shot from the trip. All I have to say is... "Family... isn't it about time?"
The pageant itself was spectacular! I enjoyed every minute of it. It truly amazes me what the pioneers went through to build our church. I am so grateful for all that they did for us!
