The people who rented the lodge to us also owned this little picnic area/dock and they let us use it for a night while we were there. It was so much fun to eat outdoors on the banks of the Mississippi River.
It was right on the beach so the kids had lots of fun playing in the sand and the water.
Graham and I snapped a picture together... he wasn't very cooperative and wanted to look at everything but the camera... he's still a cutie though.
They found this nasty clam with an oyster inside of it.
Cameron thought it would be fun to play baseball with it...
He hit it and the clam split in two and went flying in two different directions!
Cute mom making dinner. I figured out that Jeremy gets his love for food from his family. They are always so excited when the food tastes really good!
The kids had so much fun playing in the sand... I don't even think they ate their dinner! I have never seen a little girl as covered in sand as Gracie. She had such a good time getting so dirty.
The River looked gorgeous. There were these pretty birds that would fly around really close to where we were. I think they were cranes.
There was this sweet boat next to the dock... too bad it wasn't in the deal and we couldn't take it out! We all wanted to SO bad!
Bethanie and Link were practically glued to the hip our entire trip. She was so good with him... he has been going through serious withdraws being away from her since we've been home.
Lincoln had lots of fun throwing all sorts of rocks and sticks into the River. It was so cute to hear him say "Mississippi" while whenever he saw the River!
